Jane’s unique art form, paper wall hangings, involves a visual delight of mixed media of various found papers that are then hand colored, layered, pieced and sewn. Her faux fabrics are intriguing and imaginative. Her images are frequently inspired by familiar patterns found in our culture as well as those pulled from her imagination. She finds inspiration in ethnic and historic textiles.
