Leon Niehues

Leon’s beautifully formed baskets begin with the gathering of materials. He primarily uses white oak and coral berry found in the woods of Arkansas. His elegant shapes resonate with a quiet presence. Leon employs traditional techniques combined with new ones that he has developed over the years primarily for subtle embellishment.
