Luanne‘s work is a mélange of photographic images printed on silk: words, marks, letters, shadows, colors and shapes. Her work deals with issues of time and existence. Her diaphanous layers of fabric can hide, reveal, obscure and change form as they become metaphors for the many layers of life. Images, shapes and words float between the layers creating a lyrical illusion of a particular moment captured.
