Polly creates undulating, tactile sculptural baskets. Her inspiration is drawn from repetitive contours and shapes found in nature: stones, pods, and patterns left behind in sand from the wind. Her materials further echo her love of nature as they are composed of primarily natural fibers, such as date palm frond. Occasionally she will incorporate cable wire or some other surprise material to add contrast to the texture and neutrality of nature.
