Tom and Kathy Wegman are willing to bead almost anything with thousands of colorful seed beads and other jewels. They transform mundane objects into something full of sparkle, color, and humor. Lighthearted words and comical statements enhance many of the pieces. Using 450 colors of seed beads, the Wegman’s create elaborate patterns on the surface of telephones, irons, toasters, even a vacuum cleaner. The question is always “what is next?”
